Japanese manicure and pedicure – nail care (not only) for summer

If you’re looking for a natural way to take care of your nails for the summer and don’t want to waste time covering your nail plates with nail polish during the vacation season, a Japanese manicure and pedicure would be the perfect choice. Both treatments we have on offer at Easy Nails – they are very popular with our clients. The reason? They indeed bring spectacular results for a long time. Without a drop of polish.

Japanese manicures and pedicures, if accounts are to be believed, are a modern invention. About 400 years ago, women in the Land of the Cherry Blossom began rubbing a mixture of nourishing ingredients, led by beeswax, into their nail plates. They made their nails unusually shiny and smooth, and made them more durable and healthy.

Japanese manicure and pedicure came to Europe quite recently. The fashion for these treatments in the inhabitants of the Old Continent began in the 20th century. Nowadays, both treatments are making waves in beauty salons – clients often ask for them in our salons in Wroclaw, as well as in Warsaw.

Fashion for naturalness, or nail care the Japanese way

Japanese manicure and pedicure differs from other treatments of this type in one element. No liquid, solidifying conditioner or nail polish is used here. In order to achieve a high gloss of the nail plate, these treatments only use skillfully performed nail polishing and rub a special nourishing paste into the plates, and cover the whole thing with powder. The result of these measures is nails with a surface that deceptively resembles the surface of a precious and unique pearl in a shade of healthy flesh pink. Note that on nails subjected to Japanese manicure and pedicure, because of their flawless smoothness, you will not apply polish – for about 2-3 weeks after the treatment. If you feel like having your nails painted and want to be sure that the polish will hold up well, it’s a good idea to go to one of the Easy Waxing salons afterwards and get another hybrid manicure of your choice in Wroclaw or Warsaw.

Japanese manicure and pedicure – treatments perfect for summer

Since Japanese manicures and pedicures do not require the use of nail polish, and yet the nail plate regains a fantastic appearance and becomes healthier, they are treatments ideally suited for the summer – especially for people who like to sunbathe and spend every free moment very actively. This is because you don’t have to worry about chipping polish or nail growth visible under the coating.

The defects mentioned or just a crack or scratch on the paint surface are quite common during active vacations. They can even appear as a result of playing with sand while on the beach. Fortunately, the nails after a Japanese manicure and pedicure are… unbreakable. The undoubted advantage of these treatments is also that they are performed once in a while and for the next few weeks you do not have to worry about the appearance of the nail plates – no matter what conditions they come into contact with. Neither a trip on a yacht nor mountain climbing will harm them.
