We have prepared for you a compilation of trends for the most fashionable nails. Some of them are already in force since autumn, but for others the time of splendor begins now. So we write about manicure and pedicure for 2019/2020. Some proposals may surprise even seasoned connoisseurs of fashionable manicure – because although French manicure, ombre, moon, grunge and glitters remain in the canon, but they are all characterized by something new.
This news will probably please all those who are passionate about experimenting with their appearance, because the multitude of various trends allows you to effortlessly transform yourself from a vamp to an elegant lady, a seductive bumbler or a sensual dandy. After all, manicures and pedicures are elements that can be said to be the proverbial dot over the i for any styling.
From the end of 2019, a lot will really be allowed in manicures and pedicures. You can already enjoy all the trend-setters’ most fashionable proposals at Easy Nails nail bars in Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Nails like almonds, daggers or ovals?
In the 2019/2020 manicure trends, nails of any length will be fashionable, with the specific length of the nails, so to speak, determining their shape. And so:
- medium-length nails should be obligatory filed in the shape of an elegant almond; this is a timeless trend that has been appearing exceptionally often on the catwalks at fashion shows lately;
- long nails, but definitely sharply pointed;
- short nails – they are supposed to look very natural, that is, they should be filed in the shape of an oval or round.
New: round or oval nails are considered by far the biggest hit of the end of 2019 – this is a novelty, since the palm of primacy was held for many years by longer nails. This trend will also feature prominently in 2020.
Minimalist graphics versus the glamour of jewelry
Fashionistas encourage experimentation – so that 2020 manicure surprises. Nail plates will be fashionably covered with a variety of decorations. There is a lot of freedom when it comes to the number and type of decorations. Fashionable are both minimalist graphics (simple letters, single symbols), and hand-painted whole words on the nails, as well as Babyboomer type styles. Also in vogue is decorating tiles with elaborate floral patterns or setting tiny, preferably real pearls or colorful beads. One tiny black bead on a manicure kept in the classic nude style and on really short nails can have a greater effect than painted colorful impressions on elongated plates…. If someone prefers more shiny decorations, stickers imitating gemstones or small crystals are allowed.
Red to languish in manicures and pedicures 2019/2020?…
Not quite, because although red and black are giving way in 2020 to colors characteristic of nude, natural, grays or blues, the classic color palette still remains in the catalog of fashionable choices. Blood red, however, gives way to distinctly deep cherry shades or plum tones – also metallic. Black, in turn, commits a mésalliance with grays, as a result of which anthracite or graphite shades appear on the nails – either as a monocolor or as a contrast to sharp yellow or pea-green enamels applied in the traditional manner or according to the rules of French manicure.
The ombre manicure remains trendy, but – and we draw your attention to this – the shades of adjacent enamels are very similar, so the shading effect is subtle.
New: glitters give way to hologram speckles. And this accent is perhaps the clearest indication that we are already entering the third decade of the 21st century (we hint that the hologram trend is perfectly in line with the carnival mood).
