Classic and biological manicures are two different nail care techniques, each with its own characteristics. Here is a brief characterization of both types of manicures.
Classic Manicure
Classical manicure is aimed at general care of nails, cuticles, as well as making them look aesthetically pleasing.
We make it according to the following steps:
- Softening the hands in warm water or a special bath solution.
- Adjusting and cutting the cuticles with cuticle clippers and/or a milling machine.
- Shaping the nails with a file.
- Polishing the surface of the nails to get a smooth surface.
- Application of base coat, polish and top coat (if desired by the client).
- Hand massage or application of moisturizing cream.
Biological manicure
Biological manicure focuses on the health of the nails and cuticles, using natural care methods.
The next steps of a biological manicure are:
- Softening the hands in a special solution with natural oils, instead of water.
- Gently moving the cuticles with a manicure stick.
- Cleaning and smoothing the surface of the nails, but without using a file.
- Using a nail conditioner that contains natural strengthening ingredients.
- Application of polish, if the client wishes.
- Hand massage with natural oils or moisturizing creams.
Classical and biological manicures differ primarily in their approach to nail care. A classic manicure is more general and focuses on aesthetics, while a biological manicure focuses on the health of the nails, eliminating unnecessary chemicals.
Both types of manicures can be tailored to individual preferences and needs. It’s worth consulting with a professional to choose the method that best meets your needs.
