What is the IBX System?
IBX system is a conditioning product designed for professional use only. Unlike most traditional preparations of this type, it does not remain on the surface of the nail, but penetrates its structure. In short – it is a product responsible for strengthening and rebuilding the nail plate, as well as protecting it from external stimuli. It is considered a remedy in case of a splitting plate, which may be additionally thin, marked with “white spots” or damaged during styling.
IBX consists of two formulations that, when combined, provide nails with duly comprehensive protection. The components of the system include monomers, jajoba oil and avocado oil. No preservative ingredients or formaldehydes can be found here.
How does the treatment with the IBX System proceed?
To outsiders, the procedure itself may seem a bit comical, since, to put it colloquially, it involves raising one’s hands in front of a lamp at intervals of several minutes. Jokes aside, each treatment with the IBX system is based on the application of two elements in succession. The first, thanks to heating in the gentle light of the bulb, penetrates deep into the nail. As a result, the integrity of the plate is strengthened. The nails are less prone to splitting, crumbling and peeling, and optimal conditions for growth are provided. Then a second preparation is applied, which is a protective layer or shield of sorts. After hardening under UV light, it protects the nail plate from external factors such as changing temperature, water and mechanical damage.
Who is the target of IBX conditioner treatment?
Virtually anyone can take advantage of this service. The nutritional and protective values of the system are dedicated to the needs reported especially by those whose nail condition is unsatisfactory. Although IBX is a versatile product to the extent that it can also be used during routine nail styling. It is then laid as a strengthening layer during hybrid manicures, vinylux among others. It can be used by both women and men – it is a procedure so discreet that the possible gloss of the plate for the uninitiated will be completely natural.
How often can you indulge in this pleasure?
The frequency of individual treatments in a session depends on the initial degree of damage to the nail plate. The standard recommendation is to use the IBX system from 1 to 4 times per month. Undergoing treatment more than once a week will be counterproductive – nails will start to become more brittle.
At the very beginning, when the nails give the SOS signal, we can repeat the treatment at weekly intervals. As their condition improves, the intervals between visits are lengthened to 2-3 weeks. Typically, to accelerate nail growth, we recommend using the IBX System once every three weeks. Preventively, coming for a visit even once a month is sufficient to prevent damage.
How soon can we expect the results of the treatment?
The characteristics of the nail plate of each client is an individual matter. Therefore, it is impossible to establish a universal time after which the effects of the performed treatment will be visible. Some people feel a strengthening of the nail structure already after the first application, while for others it will be necessary to perform more treatments. It is worth noting that obtaining satisfactory and long-lasting results, which the IBX system boasts, usually requires a series consisting of several visits at regular intervals.
