What is a Japanese pedicure
Japanese pedicure is a procedure designed for those who appreciate the natural look of their nails and prioritize their health and high aesthetics at the same time. It can be performed for various purposes as a procedure:
- Therapeutic – when we want to restore the nails to a beautiful appearance, strengthen them, get rid of split edges or regenerate the plate after wearing tips or gels;
- Styling – when we require our nails to shine with a pearly sheen and exude health, but at the same time we do not want to apply polish.
During a Japanese pedicure, a nourishing paste with vitamins A and E, bee pollen, keratin and silica from the Sea of Japan is rubbed into the nails first, followed by a powder. The ingredients in the paste stimulate the growth of the plate, smooth its surface and strengthen it. The powder gives nails an elegant, natural look, bringing out their depth and shine.
The care part in the Japanese pedicure is identical to the treatments in the classic form. Only varnish is not applied.

Important information about the procedure
For about a month after a Japanese pedicure, it may be difficult to varnish your nails due to the fact that the powder rubbed in makes the nail plate slippery, making it difficult for the varnish to adhere;
We have also prepared a range of other treatments for you at Easy Nails salons in Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Japanese Pedicure knowledge compendium
Can I paint my nails after a Japanese manicure?
After a Japanese manicure, the nails will gain a pearly, deep shine. The nail plate is very slippery after the procedure and for about 1 to 2 months nail polishes may not stick. We recommend leaving your nails natural during this period and allowing the plate to regenerate and rest from painting.
With Japanese manicure and pedicure, do we also work out the cuticles?
Yes, with both manicure and Japanese pedicure we develop the cuticles. Before developing the nails at the Japanese manicure, we will perform a biological manicure. With pedicures, we start by milling and working out the cuticles.
Is it better to get a Japanese manicure or put conditioner on your nails?
The two treatments are slightly different. Japanese manicure perfectly strengthens and nourishes the nail plate. After it is performed, you need to wait about 1-1.5 months before you start painting your nails again. The conditioner allows you to apply polish right away, but may be less effective.
Are your nails visually different from regular unpainted nails after a Japanese manicure?
Yes. Japanese manicure gives your nails shine and depth. The appearance of the nail can be described as deep, pearly and shiny.
Do nails grow faster after a Japanese manicure and pedicure?
Definitely yes, after a Japanese manicure or pedicure, you will notice a noticeably faster growth of nails, their reconstruction and strengthening. For this reason, we recommend Japanese manicure as a regenerative treatment for damaged nails.
